We focus on research that can be put into practice quickly—helping people live healthier lives and supporting services to work better.

Everything we do starts with listening. By working closely with those who use and deliver services, we ensure our research addresses what matters most—particularly for underrepresented groups.

As one of 11 NIHR ARCs across England, we work with partners across the Thames Valley and beyond to turn research into real improvements.
